Leithaberg DAC
natural borders The Leithaberg region is made up of about 3500 hectares of vineyards in the foothills of the Leithaberg mountain in Burgenland. These are situated 50 km to the southeast of Vienna, between Lake Neusiedl and the 400 metre high Leithaberg mountain.
Local geological and natural conditions were drawn upon in order to define the borders of the Leithaberg wine growing area. Limestone and slate were combined. |
